any women are aware that proper breast health is an essential piece of the puzzle that is overall women’s health. However, many women who work in stressful jobs and don’t get enough sleep are drinking soy milk to avoid getting hormones cows could have gotten and eating soy burgers for the same reason. These women are doing well for themselves in terms of making the right food and drink choices; however, they don’t take into consideration the effect of the other stressors in their everyday lives. These women may not get to reap the benefits of soy products.
Career Women
Many women of recent generations have made very respectable careers for themselves working in a variety of sectors and a variety of salary ranges. These women have done very well to change the work environment in a relatively short amount of time and have changed a lot of things around the workplace. Harassment that might have been common two generations ago is not only out of the picture, it is even vastly frowned upon in the workplace. It’s so frowned upon that it’s even pathetic. Despite all of these positive changes that these career women have made to the work world, their dedication to their jobs is sometimes at the detriment of their dedication to their health.
Many career women, not unlike career men, have health that is suffering from too much stress and too little sleep and vacation time. These women are dealing with, in some cases, not only the stresses of a full career, but also taking care of a family and home. Whether a career woman is also taking care of a full domestic life or not, career women must face the same decisions as career men. When to choose for health and when for one’s career is a huge dilemma for many people.
Mid-Day Yoga
Many women have become aware of the fact that their career style is affecting their overall health and have started making positive changes in their lives that include such things as yoga or other workouts at noon-time, eating a healthy breakfast on their way to work, and making sure to be home in time to enjoy the evening, relax, and get to bed on time. These women are setting a good example for women who have not yet realized or admitted that lifestyle plays a large role in one’s overall health.
As far as women are concerned, the reality is even stronger for women than it is to men. More apt to stress, women are putting their breast health and their overall health at risk every time that they work too hard. Don’t let this become you! Be aware of your stress levels and your work ethics as well as your overall health. Know that they affect each other!
